Our Story
Aqua Jet’s origin goes back to a sunny summer afternoon in 1970 when John Turk, a state police trooper, saw a man driving down the highway with a fiberglass pool on a trailer. He stopped the gentleman, asked a few questions, and became fascinated with the idea of installing residential pools. That fall he helped several friends and neighbors install fiberglass pools. Word kept spreading and soon he was stocking supplies as well so to help homeowners care for their new pools. As the business snowballed John involved his wife and teenage daughters to help run the business, and the rest is as they say, history.
Today Aqua Jet Pools is a household name in the Hudson Valley, known for its high quality inground pools, luxury spas, professional water testing and friendly, knowledgeable retail staff. We love to help homeowners create beautiful backyards, so please swing on by!
